This new hotel can be regarded as an extension to an
already extremely popular property, however is of higher
quality with added facilities. WiFi internet runs throughout
the hotel and the top floor offers a host of recreational
facilities that includes an outdoor pool, steam and
sauna rooms and a unisex gymnasium. The hotel also offers
complimentary airport and beach transfers however is
subject to conditions and availability.
The newly built 174-room hotel is modern and is connected
at the ground floor to it's sister property, the Ascot
Hotel.
The large, marble lobby is elegant and well appointed.
A classical staircase is found upon entering the hotel,
with the reception to the right and more than sufficient
seating found throughout the lobby.
The Royal Ascot has 3 restaurants, a 24 hour coffee
shop and a lunch bar, although in-house clients have
access to the Ascot Hotel which famous for its food
and beverage outlets including Waxy O Connors one of
the most popular bars in the city among Anglophiles.
There is also a Japanese, Russian and Irish restaurant
in the hotel. Attached to the hotel is the 350-seater
Dubai Music Hall Amphitheatre which is unique to the
city and is open from November 2006 onwards.
The Royal Ascot is located in the Bur Dubai district
of Dubai. The hotel is centrally located for visiting
the local attractions and for the number of bars in
the vicinity. The airport is approximately 10 kms away
from the hotel with the nearest public beach in Jumeirah
being less than 15 kms away.
